HOW you can help

Would you like an opportunity to be part of the future of opera in Australia?
Through your support, you can become closely involved in the life of a promising young artist.  You will be transformed when you hear them sing, watch them perform and witness their development – a development that will be a direct result of your support.
OSA invites you to connect with an opera star of the future by becoming a patron today.

SCHOLARSHIPS

OSA is currently in a position to offer only seven full scholarships of $6,000 each year to classical singers aged between 18 and 25 years from throughout Victoria.  Continued funding of these scholarship opportunities will only be possible with generous philanthropic support. Our aim by 2021 is to provide up to 25 full scholarships each year. Scholarship Patron’s are introduced to their Scholar and follow their development throughout the year.

OSA SUMMER SCHOOL

The annual Summer School is held in Beechworth each January. It provides a week of educational activities that include one on one coaching sessions, master classes, dance and acting workshops and lunch time recitals. The Summer School prepares each scholar for performances at Voices in the Twilight and Opera in the Alps at the conclusion of the Summer School.

As a Summer School Patron, you will help provide these special opportunities to all scholars, including those who would not be able to attend due to their financial situation. OSA is seeking gifts of $10,000 or more to deliver the Summer School program each year.

MUSIC DIRECTOR

This key role will help shape the future of OSA so that students can engage with an experienced professional who will play a significant part in their artistic future.  This is a new position at OSA and we are seeking support from Patrons who are prepared to commit to gifts over a three-year period to ensure the continuity of the program.

OSA EDUCATION FUND

To deliver the weekly vocal coaching classes, masterclasses, workshops, concerts and special projects to complete our scholar’s artistic education, $50,000 is required to provide the program each year.  Gifts of $5,000 or greater are appreciated and where possible committed over a three year period.

OSA SUPPORTERS

All donations of any amount are welcome and do make a difference.

All gifts to Opera Scholars Australia are tax deductible.

All Patrons will receive special opportunities to connect with Opera Scholars Australia throughout the year, including exclusive invitations to intimate gatherings, masterclasses and pre-concert experiences at Opera in the Alps and
Opera in the Market.

Become a Patron today.

Join us on the journey of developing
the Opera stars of tomorrow.
