Saffrey Brown

Saffrey's love for classical singing and opera, was inspired by her involvement in Victorian Opera's Young Chorus Ensemble (VOYCE) and time under the tutelage of Frederica Cunningham during her secondary studies.

Saffrey then chose to pursue her passion at the University of Melbourne in 2017, where she began her Bachelor of Music degree. Throughout her degree she has been inspired by her teacher Suzanne Johnston and her involvement in University productions such as 'Gloria Vivaldi', 'Passion, Lament, Glory' and Poulenc's, 'Diaologues des Carmelites'.

In 2019 Saffrey has been a member of the chorus in Victorian Opera's 'Parsifal', and she looks forward to singing with Opera Scholars Australia.
