Shajeda Kalitzki


Shajeda is currently a second-year student at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music studying a Bachelor of Music (Music Performance), specializing in Classical Voice.

In 2017, Shajeda was proud to become a scholarship holder with Opera Scholars Australia. Shajeda was also in 2017 invited to become a solo vocalist with Crescendo Music Australia. In 2016 Shajeda  performed along side the Crescendo String Quartet in the Partners in Piano concert as a vocal soloist. Shajeda has also performed in a variety of Melbourne Conservatorium of Music’s ensembles.

Shajeda has been a part of numerous Victorian Opera productions including The Play of Herod, where Shajeda took on a principal role as Rachel, also The Play of Daniel, and The Little Sweep.

Shajeda has also many awards including, most recently, the Scholarship for Overall Most Outstanding Potential in Classical Voice, 1st and 2nd placing’s in Classical sections at Eisteddford by the Bay since 2014.

From 2012-2015, Shajeda held a Firbank Music/Vocal Scholarship which involved being an active member of the St Andrew Choir. She also completed VCE Music Performance, units 3/4.

Shajeda has completed up to Grade 7 in AMEB Classical Voice (with Honors) and Grade 6 in AMEB Classical Piano (with Honors).
