New beginnings with old friends and a celebration of our current Scholars. 

The arrival of Spring is a reminder of growth and new beginnings. Now more than ever we need to find reasons to celebrate and feel connected to each other. We would like to welcome you to join us for this happy occasion featuring the 2020 OSA Scholars and the work they have achieved through the online platform that we moved to as a result of the covid pandemic. We also welcome OSA Alumni to share their news and insights.

Despite facing many challenges with technology OSA has continued to deliver a high quality program offering weekly sessions, guest artists (including Opera Director Cameron Menzies who is directing Voices of Spring), accompaniment recordings and répétiteur sessions, a weekend workshop, a virtual Winter School in July with individual vocal and acting coaching, relaxation classes, laughing exercises and ensemble sessions. Most importantly, OSA has continued to offer a nurturing environment and active support in adapting to learning in isolation.

Voices of Spring is a free concert with donations encouraged, enabling OSA to continue supporting young artists in all aspects of their development. Please consider making a donation or even becoming a Patron of Opera Scholars Australia.

Registration is essential for the premiere: a confirmation email will be sent on receipt of your completed registration form. A reminder email will be sent 2 days before the concert. On Sunday 25 October, 15 minutes before the concert goes live, you will receive a link giving you access to the OSA Youtube channel to watch the concert at 3pm.

Registered audience members can also access a complimentary program online with program notes and performer details on the day of the concert.
